Irish Government Policy “Engendering” Child Abuse

Published / by Administrator

Children are Victims of No Common Sense.

G.K. Chesterton wrote in The Oracle of the Dog that “it’s the first effect of not believing in God that you lose your common sense”. The truth of this affirmation is proven in modern Ireland where, not only are men now “legally” permitted to “marry” men and women “marry” women … but, men are actually calling themselves women, and women are calling themselves men! Yes, the “Transgender” lunacy has well and truly landed in the Emerald Isle.

But, what is even more tragic is that this craziness is being actively promoted among the most innocent of our citizens – the children. The Department of Education and Skills issued a document to secondary schools just last year (2016) entitled “Being LGBT in School”. This document states that “it is crucially important to the well-being of a young person that they are treated with dignity, respect and fairness for his or her preferred identity”. The schools are instructed to identify and cater for the “needs” of these students, including considering the usage of “a preferred name [and] appropriate pronoun”!

Madness!

There is so much madness in this document that it is very difficult to select representative examples. However, other instances of lunacy include the suggestion to allow “transgender” students “to wear the uniform of their preferred gender” and to be “able to access toilet and changing facilities that correspond with their gender identity”. Teachers are encouraged to “increase their knowledge of transgender identity and related issues by becoming familiar with the terminology involved and by reading background information about transgender young people” in order to be able to create a climate which is “accepting and inclusive”. Finally, schools are given two case-studies to illustrate possible scenarios, one of which concerns a student whose parents were opposed to their “transition”. The school is thus being used as a tool to undermine parental rights.

Any sane person has to pinch himself and ask, “Is this really Ireland?”! Who on earth has given these evil people the right to stuff this nonsense down our and our children’s throats?! And, perhaps more to the point, why are we not reacting?!

Hypocritical Irish Media Behind New Child Abuse.

Of course, the Irish media is one of the powerhouses promoting this immoral insanity, and in doing so, brings its hypocrisy to a whole new level. Everyone knows that it has been “religiously” to the forefront in exposing all the examples of child abuse carried out by members of the Irish hierarchy and religious orders in the past. In itself, nothing wrong with that, except that the media’s clear motivation was to use these relatively few (though, of course, horrendous) examples to definitively destroy the Catholic Church and its influence in Irish society. And now that the media has neutralised the Church, what does it do? It inflicts the most cruel form of child abuse on these same children in the name of a child’s so-called right to be whatever gender he or she “feels” like!

If anyone hesitates to call this madness “child abuse”, then they should listen to what Michelle Cretella*, President of the American College of Pediatricians, has to say on the issue. In a recent article, Doctor Cretella states: “I have witnessed an upending of the medical consensus on the nature of gender identity. What doctors once treated as a mental illness, the medical community now largely affirms and even promotes as normal”. She then goes on to list the different changes which have led to the creation of a “new normal”, concluding that “the transgender movement has gained legs in the medical community and in our culture by offering a deeply flawed narrative. The scientific research and facts tell a different story”. Doctor Cretella then lists these scientific facts, and finally concludes her article saying that “today’s institutions that promote transition affirmation are pushing children to impersonate the opposite sex… These harms constitute nothing less than institutionalised child abuse”.

*N.B. It is not absolutely clear from her article whether Mrs. Cretella opposes the LGBT movement in its entirety or simply its “Transgender” element. Of course every Catholic and sane-minded person must oppose all elements of the LGBT agenda.

Corruption of the Youngest.

Not only are these people determined to abuse our teenagers in secondary school, they have set their sights on the youngest and most innocent of Irish children. On 30th April 2017, the Sunday Independent reported the launching on the Irish market of “a book aimed at children up to five years of age, which tells the story of a transgender teddy bear transitioning from male to female”! This book, called Introducing Teddy, is being stocked online by one of Ireland’s leading booksellers, Easons. When we already know that the INTO (Irish National Teachers Organisation) publicly supports LGBT education in schools through its Different Families, Same Love initiative, what is to stop teachers having children in Junior Infants read this book in class?

The same Sunday Independent article goes on to quote Professor Donal O’Shea, an endocrinologist at St. Columcille’s (!) Hospital in Loughlinstown, Co. Dublin, which provides hormonal therapies for “trans” people. Professor O’Shea remarks:

“I used to ask people if they had told their wife and children; now I’m asking secondary students whether they would rather transition during the year of their Leaving Certificate or wait till their exams are over… It is so much better if it can be addressed at an early age, before life becomes more complicated…”

Who gave this Frankenstein a licence to practice “medecine”?! On the contrary, medical professionals like Michelle Cretella who use common sense in this matter point out that the solution is to treat the underlying psychological problem in individuals, not to “treat…children as the gender they desire”:

“The transition-affirming view holds that children who ‘consistently and persistently insist’ that they are not the gender associated with their biological sex are innately transgender. The fact that in normal life and in psychiatry, anyone who ‘consistently and persistently insists’ on anything else contrary to physical reality is considered either confused or delusional is conveniently ignored.”

Stop this Indoctrination!

Richard Bruton, Minister for Education

This sick indoctrination has to be stopped! But, what can we do? Well, parents with children of school-going age have to do everything in their power to protect those whom God has put under their care. The homeschooling option could be the way forward (here is a link to one Catholic homeschooling programme: http://fsspx.uk/en/srhs-mailing). Teachers in both Primary and Secondary schools must stand up and resist these programmes being taught and promoted, insofar they possibly can. Others could, perhaps, send a short letter of protest to Education Minister Richard Bruton and local T.D.s. This letter could highlight the possibility of legal action being brought by these abused children against schools and the State some years down the road (potentially losing money is usually the most effective motivation to make a politician act!). Finally, why not contact local priests and bishops to encourage them to speak out in defence of those whom Our Lord loved most – the children. In Ireland, many schools are still owned by religious orders or even dioceses. While individual bishops and priests may be personally opposed to this evil, if they allow it to flourish under their watch, how can they escape the curse of Our Lord when He warned:

“And whosoever shall scandalise one of these little ones that believe in Me; it were better for him that a millstone were hanged around his neck, and he were cast into the sea”.
